GERMANY: – Slight rise – The Dax is expected to rise slightly on Friday. About two and a half hours before the start of the Xetra, broker IG estimated that the German leading index was 0.2 percent higher at 18,256 points. On Wall Street, prices were slightly higher after the end of the European session. However, the technology stocks on the Nasdaq are still waiting to continue their record run. Over the course of the week, the Dax has so far made only a small increase. It has thus continued its stabilization course of the previous week, after the correction in the middle of the month.

USA: – LITTLE MOVEMENTS – Investors once again dragged their feet on the American stock market on Thursday. As in the middle of the week, the main indices moved little. On Wall Street, caution was required on the eve of two major events. The first televised debate between President Joe Biden and his opponent Donald Trump was scheduled for after the stock market closed. On Friday, important inflation data will be released. The Dow Jones Industrial index rose 0.09% to 39,164.06 points.

ASIA: – PRICE GAINS – The main stock markets in Asia advanced on Friday. In Tokyo, the flagship Japanese Nikkei 225 index gained 0.7% shortly before the end of the session. The CSI 300 index, which brings together the main stocks of mainland China, was up 0.6% at the end of the session, while the Hang-Seng index, predominantly technological, gained almost 0.6% in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. During the day, US price data will be in focus as it has raised or dimmed hopes of lower interest rates.
