While on QUB Radio, Mr. Bruneau opened up about his experience as a political debate host. With many election nights under his belt, he explains that Biden and Trump should rely on doubt to win points with viewers.

Their ages will also be a source of criticism from the two participants, who are 78 and 81 years old respectively. “They showed weaknesses on a few occasions,” he added. According to him, it is a question of “who will be the least lost in his words.”

Even though the questions are already prepared by the moderators and the team behind the organization of the debate, Mr. Bruneau is convinced that with “Donald Trump, you never know what to expect.”

The last debate that the man had moderated was that of the provincial elections in 2022. It had been a “cacophony”, according to him, but he affirms that the team anticipated it.

“We can expect it to be a very lively debate this evening,” he said.
