Taiz Governorate Commemorates Death Anniversary of Scholar Sayyid Badr al-Din al-Houthi

TAIZ June 28. 2024 (Saba) – An event was held yesterday, Thursday, in Taiz Governorate on the occasion of the death anniversary of the divine scholar, Sayyid Badr al-Din bin Amir al-Din al-Houthi.
During the event, in the presence of a number of deputies of the governorate, directors of the executive office and directorates, academics and military and security leaders, Muhammad Al-Khulaidi, stressed that this anniversary coincided with the state anniversary. It is certain that the death of the eminent scholar Sayyid Badr al-Din al-Houthi represents a loss for the nation.
He reviewed an aspect of the life of the scholar, Sayyid Badr al-Din al-Houthi, as well as the values, exploits, status, virtues and courageous positions that he possessed, indicating that he carried the concerns of the nation and was keen on its unity and its liberation from ignorance, injustice, tyranny and arrogance.
Al-Khalidi spoke of the fact that the scholar Sayyid Badr al-Din al-Houthi confronted, with his writings, the Wahhabi takfiri project which had penetrated society and represented a model for the struggling scholar. His life was a school of patience. , faith, jihad, humility, asceticism and piety, and he set an example to all through his efforts and knowledge.
For his part, the head of the Governorate’s Scholars Unit, Ali Al-Saruri, indicated that Sayyid Badr Al-Din was able, through his children and students, to confront the oppressors and their arrogance and change the Yemeni reality. and Islamic society in all areas.
He stressed that the commemoration of the venerable divine scholar Sayyed Badr al-Din al-Houthi, years after his death, confirms the correctness of his movement, the greatness of his positions and the importance of his jihadist role and his knowledge of ‘enlightenment… emphasizing the importance of emulating the jihadist values and principles that the scholar embodied.
