In an exclusive interview with Télé Star, Mickaël and Nadia spoke about their story, born in L'amour est dans le pré.
Mickaël, a farmer from Côtes d'Armor and a widower for more than twenty years, found love again with Nadia, a mother from L'Hérault.

Among the candidates for this new edition of L’amour est dans le pré, we find Michaelthe Côtes d'Armor farmer. A widower for more than twenty years, the man who lost the mother of his children was today ready to find love again, and it is now done since he lives on cloud nine with Nadia.
The mother, originally from L'Hérault, was initially in “competition” with Rozenn to win Mickaël's heart, before the farmer's choice fell on her. “I had something inside me that took me towards Nadia to be honest. When I left speed dating, I knew thatsomething strong was happening and something happened on TV. But as I am a very discreet person, it didn't show”, confided Mickaël to Purepeople.

Very in love, the two lovebirds will soon move up a gear while Mickaël has made a jolie surprise to Nadia during the review, which has not yet been broadcast on M6 but already available on M6+. Indeed, as Télé Star announced to you recently, the Breton farmer asked for the hand of his sweetheart! In an exclusive interview, the couple told us behind the scenes of this happy event.
“Why did I make this request at the time of the assessment? There is a very specific reason”, says Mickaël before adding: “(Nadia) had closed herself off a little bit, and I wanted something strong to make her understand the message, and I took advantage of the assessment to send him that message”.

Did the surprise effect work? “I didn't expect it, not at that time”, admits Nadia. “I knew he had that in a little corner of his mind because it's important for him to really commit and we felt that our story was something very, very strong. But actually, it was a huge surprise”.
To make this important decision, Mickaël preferred to listen only to his heart, without consulting those around him, not even his children. “I made this decision alone and truly alone. There was only one person in production who knew about it”, specifies the farmer. Regarding the wedding date, nothing has yet been set, even if the couple admits to having an idea.
