The duel is highly anticipated. Democratic President Joe Biden and his Republican predecessor Donald Trump are facing off for the first time since the 2020 campaign. Both candidates ignored the commission on presidential debates to agree on the rules with CNN. The debate will take place this Thursday in Atlanta. In Switzerland, it will be 3 a.m. on the night of Thursday to Friday.
Without an audience, it will last 90 minutes, interspersed with two commercial breaks during which the campaign teams will not be able to interact with the candidates. The two men will be able to take notes but will not be entitled to any help, not even index cards. When one speaks, the other’s microphone will be cut off.
