Big scare for this couple from Gers, at the end of the day, this Tuesday, November 19. He was traveling on the N 21 in Auch when a fire destroyed his vehicle. Fortunately, the two occupants were able to escape from the car in time.
This couple in their seventies were driving on Rue Rouget-de-Lisle at the end of the day when their vehicle, a Mercedes-Benz Class B, caught fire. Around 5:30 p.m., passersby noticed sparks escaping from underneath the car.
Alerted, the driver immediately stopped her vehicle on the side of the road. The front of the vehicle was quickly engulfed in flames.
The intervention of firefighters brought the fire under control, requiring the temporary closure of the road. Fortunately, these Gers motorists escaped unscathed, despite the fright.
