“My heart is heavy. Paul Teal was the kind of guy who would light up a room without trying. His bright smile, his contagious laugh and his kind heart made you want to be near him,” wrote “Scott Brothers” star Joy Lenz in her Instagram post. “I was thrilled to direct an episode of One Tree Hill where I got to cast a new recurring character, Josh, the seedy movie star. With his self-effacing sense of humor and willingness to fully immerse himself in any character, Paul was perfect for the role.”
