A 69-year-old woman dies in a fire last night in -Atlantique

In a press release, the Loireauxence Departmental Fire and Rescue Service announced that the fire in a house in Loireauxence, in -Atlantique caused two victims on the night of Monday 18 to Tuesday 19 November. A 69-year-old woman has died.

The Loire-Atlantique firefighters intervened on Tuesday, November 19, at 1:30 a.m., for a house fire in Loireauxence.

On site, in the hamlet of Quatre vents, firefighters rescued two victims. A 71-year-old man with minor injuries and transported to the Ancenis hospital center. They also tried to save a 69-year-old woman but, despite the cardiovascular resuscitation measures provided, the victim was declared dead.

The fire was extinguished using a fire hose.

The intervention required the presence of 24 firefighters, the gendarmerie and the Smur. An elected official visited the site.
