More than 850,000 Gabonese voters went to the polls on Saturday to vote on the draft of the new Constitution.
This constitutional referendum is the final stage of the inclusive national dialogue launched last April.
This electoral deadline, which is part of the timetable established by the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions, represents a major step towards the return to normal constitutional order and the organization of free and transparent presidential elections. , according to the transition authorities.
In accordance with legal provisions, the final results will be validated by the Constitutional Court in the coming days.
