Bernard Genty, municipal councilor of Onlay since 1999, received the gold medal for his 25 years of commitment from the senator, Patrice Joly.
Recently, in the town hall premises, senator Patrice Joly and the mayor of the town, Daniel Martin, presented Bernard Genty with the gold medal for his twenty-five years as a municipal elected official.

Arriving in Onlay in 1956, at the age of 4, from a family of eleven children, farming in Dennecy at the age of 22, Bernard Genty has been a municipal councilor of Onlay since 1999.
Investment for the village
During five mandates, he was in charge of Lyonnaise des Eaux, the Luzy slaughterhouse and the Moulins-Engilbert college.
Around fifty people gathered around him on this occasion to thank him for his tireless investment in the village.
The senator wanted to reward this example of a citizen very invested in functions necessary for the daily functioning of our villages and territories.
