What result must the Blues achieve to avoid half of the death table

Against Poland (this Tuesday at 6 p.m.), the Blues have every interest in winning as widely as possible to finish at the top of Group D at Euro 2024, and thus switch to the half of the table opposite that of the Germany, Spain and Portugal, three of the favorites who have impressed the most since the start of the competition.

All the scenarios for the Blues here

The scenarios that offer first place in Group D to France

-France beats Poland and the Netherlands does not beat Austria

-France beats Poland by a bigger margin than the Netherlands against Austria or by the same margin but with two goals more than the Dutch

-France and the Netherlands draw and the Blues score two more goals against Poland than the Dutch against Austria

Lewandowski’s warning on Mbappé’s mask

Kylian Mbappé should wear a protective mask during France-Poland, this Tuesday at Euro 2024 (6 p.m.). A real handicap for the captain of the Blues, according to Robert Lewandowski. Barça’s Polish striker himself had to play with a mask after an injury in 2015. And he has bad memories of it.

Lewandowski’s explanations here

“When I had to wear a mask, it wasn’t nice,” Lewandowski recalls. “It’s quite annoying, especially in the penalty area, it was complicated. I couldn’t see well, my field of vision was reduced. It’s a few thousandths of a second but it can slow down a player (…) It’s not pleasant, but of course a player’s health is more important. During a big competition, emotions are very high and everyone wants to play at all costs. I completely understand the challenge. and the difficulties for Mbappé.”

Hello and welcome everyone to this live

Please note, unusual schedule for the France team which plays this Tuesday at 6 p.m. The Blues are already qualified, thanks to Albania’s defeat against Spain, which guarantees them, at worst, a best third place. But the stakes are completely different for the French team, after a solid but unsuccessful performance against Austria (1-0) and a messy performance against the Netherlands (0-0). We will have to reassure ourselves offensively against Poland, already eliminated, and incidentally win first place in the group, which would avoid them Germany, Spain or Portugal before the final.

With or without Mbappé? With or without Griezmann? The compositions will drop around 5 p.m. Kick-off at 6 p.m. on TF1, on the radio on RMC and, like all Euro matches, live and in full on RMC 100% Euro digital radio. We will of course keep an ear on Netherlands-Austria, which will of course have an impact on the ranking of the Blues. Two matches to follow live with commentary on the RMC Sport website and app.
