Rodri's triumph during the 2024 Ballon d'Or ceremony, on October 28 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, fueled the discussions. If his coronation was hailed as a victory for the midfielders, others deplored the non-crowning of Vinicius Jr. Coming second, the Brazilian was considered the big favorite to win the prestigious distinction.
For Dani Olmo, however, there is no doubt, the trophy is in good hands. This Friday, at a press conference before facing Denmark in the Nations League, the FC Barcelona attacking midfielder expressed his enthusiasm at the consecration of his compatriot, with whom he won Euro 2024 in the jersey of the Roja.
