This Wednesday, November 15, Caroline Receveur shared an important stage of her post-cancer reconstruction in an Instagram story.
A year ago, Caroline Receveur announced that she had breast cancer. Since then, Hugo Philip's wife has overcome many challenges, from heavy treatments to mastectomy, until her victory against the disease at the beginning of the year. However, post-cancer is not a long, quiet river. As she confided a few weeks ago, she dreaded leaving the “care bubble” and having to once again face the fear of a relapse. But despite these anxieties, Marlon's mother showed admirable strength. The ex-reality TV candidate has taken a new step, and not the least, she officially removed her PAC (Port-to-Cath), an essential medical device during her chemotherapies, and underwent a major procedure.

A few weeks ago, Caroline Receveur revealed that she still wore her PAC although it was no longer necessary for her care. The reason? She was planning a procedure in January 2024 to reduce her breasts and had chosen to wait until then to combine the two operations. “I could have removed it a long time agobut I plan to have my breasts reduced in January so I'm waiting for the operation to remove it at the same time“, she then explained on Instagram. But against all expectations, Caroline Receveur finally moved forward with this operation, as she revealed today.

In her Instagram story on November 15, the influencer revealed this important moment with a touching testimony: “Yesterday I said goodbye to my PAC, this little box implanted under my skin which allowed me to receive my chemotherapy. She was part of me, she also reassured me, I think… I free myself from her today with emotion, after 18 months of treatment.” She also spoke about her operation to reduce the size of her breasts, a carefully considered decision: “After my mastectomy a year ago, I had difficulty getting my breast back, my breasts. They were no longer symmetrical, neither in size nor in shape. I only wanted one thing: to remove everything. 12 months to the day after removing my left breast, I am finally rebuilding myself and turning a new page, lighter than ever for my 37 years.”
