Arriving at Lille in 2020, David continued his fourth season with more than 13 goals (19 goals this season in Ligue 1). Under contract until June 2025 with LOSC, the Canadian has a market value estimated at €50M per TransferMarkt.
In Enzo Marseca’s future system – which should evolve into 4-2-3-1 next season – the Chelsea striker will have a vital role.
If the offensive profiles of the squad are varied and quantitative, a real scorer is missing, and has been for several seasons. Last year, Nicolas Jackson seemed to be destined for this position, but the Senegalese also performed well on the left wing.
