Orléans town hall is organizing its traditional Christmas Market, which is held this year from Friday November 29, 2024 to Sunday January 5, 2025, on the theme ‘Once upon a time there was Christmas’. But the installation of the first stands and chalets began in mid-November.
Assembly and disassembly operations
Place du Martroi : assembly from November 15 to 29; dismantling from December 30, 2024 to January 3, 2025 then from January 6 to 12, 2025 (ferris wheel and sleigh ride)
Place de la République: assembly from November 14 to 29; dismantling from January 6 to January 10, 2025.
Place de la Loire: assembly from November 21 to 29; dismantling from January 6 to 12, 2025.

Some night facilities
In order to limit the impact on noise pollution, assembly and dismantling operations will be carried out during the day except:
– Place du Martroi: assembly of the Ferris wheel on November 16, from 5 a.m.; installation of the chalets on Monday 18, Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 November, from 5 a.m.; dismantling of chalets on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 January 2025, from 5 a.m.
– Place de la République: installation of the chalets on Wednesday November 20, from 5 a.m.; dismantling of the chalets on Thursday January 8, 2025, from 5 a.m.
– Sound system: the sound system at the Christmas Market and in the city center will be limited only to Christmas Market hours: from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday to Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

During the Christmas Market, access to Place de la République and Place de Loire by car will be available until 10:30 a.m., Monday to Sunday. In the evening, this access will be from Sunday to Thursday, from 8:30 p.m., then on Friday and Saturday, from 9:30 p.m.
