A fire broke out in a retirement home near Zaragoza in Spain. According to the Spanish press, at least ten people lost their lives.
Ten people died and at least two were seriously injured this Friday in a serious fire that occurred in a residence for elderly people with mental disorders (Jardines de Villafranca), located in Villafranca de Ebro, in the province of Zaragoza, this Friday morning .

The fire is now under control but the authorities still do not know what caused this deadly fire. 82 people were present in the building at the time of the fire, according to the newspaper Herald. However, the mayor of Villafranca de Ebro, Volga Ramirez Gamiz, indicated on Cadena SER radio that the tragedy began in a resident's room, when a mattress caught fire.
