Nearly four months after the announcement of the Culture and rurality plan, elected officials are chomping at the bit. This plan, which results from the Spring of Rurality, a vast consultation organized for four months by the regional directorates of cultural affairs (Drac), resulted in 23 measures announced on July 11 by Rachida Dati and allocated 89 million euros over three years.

Today, the regional directorates of cultural affairs (Drac) give elected officials the impression of being absent. “I am waiting, I have no news,” summarizes Nadine Kersaudy, mayor of Cléden-Cap-Sizun (Finistère, 910 inhabitants) and member of the Culture commission of the Association of Rural Mayors of ( AMRF).
