It's the question on every Samsung owner's lips: when will my Galaxy finally be updated? Well we have good news for you: it shouldn't take (too) long any longer. On the side of the South Korean manufacturer, although no official communication has been made, we are starting to give the signal of an imminent arrival for certain devices.
One UI 7 and Android 15 soon available from Samsung
First of all, remember that an Android update on a Samsung smartphone also includes a new version of OneUI, the company's proprietary overlay. So, with Android 15, Galaxy models should also benefit from One UI 7. This update should bring its own changes, particularly in terms of interface and performance, as well as new features related to Artificial Intelligence and specifically thoughts for the brand.
Which Samsung smartphones benefit from Android 15?
But for now, only the broad outlines of the update are known. Because One UI 7 has just entered the testing phase, and only in South Korea, Germany and the United States. Logically therefore, concrete information on the subject is still rare, Samsung still not having revealed the exact list of smartphones to be affected by the Android 15 / One UI 7 update.
However, recent changes made by Samsung regarding the update times of its devices allow us to draw up a probable list of affected devices:
- Galaxy : S21 / S22 / S23 / S24
- Galaxy Z Flip & Fold : 3 / 4 / 5
- Galaxy A : 24 / 33 / 34 / 53 / 54
If a few other previous models could also be affected, it remains likely that this list will not be much longer when the official announcements are made. However, good news to conclude: the S25 should come with Android 15 and One UI7 by default.
