We cannot yet qualify him as a serial killer, but the man arrested Tuesday evening on a train in Toulon is still highly suspicious. He presents himself as a Cameroonian under OQTF. The man is suspected of being behind several attacks, and above all to be the author of the violent murder of a homeless man Monday evening in Lyon. This homeless man was called Emilio, he was Moldovan, and he was sleeping in a small street near the Perrache train station. Neighbors who had known him for more than four years were dismayed this Thursday, November 14.
This is the case of Cathy, a young English student, who came to leave a little note for Emilio, whom she met every day. “Rest in peace, Rest In Peace,” she wrote, very moved. “He was always nice, it's a shame. RIP, I hope you are [sic] better now,” she said.
“I knew Emilio, I saw him, I sometimes left him coins, it really saddens me to know he died like that,” confides Rose, who stopped for a few moments with her son, to reflect in front of the flowers and candlesdeposited in honor of the SDF. The boy adds: “He was very kind to me, I always wanted to give him a coin, my mother always said yes to me. He said thank you very much.”
Sabine is one of the last to see Emilio on Sunday evening, and his gruesome murder shocks her. “It's incomprehensible. When I went out Monday morning and I saw the police who were there… These are complicated times, it obviously affects, we tell ourselves that it’s happening right next to our house, it’s violent, horrible. I can’t even imagine it,” she confides.
The perpetrator of this crime was arrested, he is also suspected of four other violent attacks. Checks are underway to find out if the suspect is really involved in all the cases.
