This man was the subject of an international arrest warrant, but he surrendered to the police on Wednesday. The information was reported by La Capitale and confirmed Thursday by the Brussels prosecutor’s office.

A fourth suspect was placed under arrest warrant by the investigating judge as part of the investigation into a murder in 2023 in the Brussels commune of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre.

The events took place on the evening of Wednesday March 29, 2023, around 9:05 p.m., at the intersection of avenue de Tervueren and boulevard de la Woluwe. The victim, DK (38), was driving on Avenue de Tervueren, coming from Brussels when his car was the target of several gunshots, near the tram museum. The man died on the spot. The Brussels public prosecutor’s office immediately ordered the opening of a judicial investigation, the hearing of several witnesses, the viewing of images from surveillance cameras, as well as the intervention of the federal police laboratory, but the case was remained at a standstill for months.

At the beginning of October, two suspects, DR and NY, were however arrested. They were both placed under arrest warrant for murder by the investigating judge. A third arrest took place in December 2023, and the fourth today/Thursday. The motive for the murder is not yet known.
