The meeting is set for 11:00 a.m. at the Schuman roundabout but Brussels traffic will be impacted much earlier.
Traffic problems will occur throughout the Brussels Region, warn the police. All day (from 5:00 a.m.), rue de la Loi (between Schuman and R20) and the Reyers tunnel coming from the E40 towards the center will be closed.
The surrounding streets of Rue de la Loi and the European Quarter could also experience traffic disruptions. These problems could persist until late afternoon.
The majority of participants in the demonstration on Rue de la Loi will move from dawn via different access routes.
Another demonstration is planned in the capital on Thursday. The taxi demonstration will leave Etterbeek in the morning and head towards the center of Brussels (rue Lombard) via Place Poelaert, with traffic disruptions expected until early afternoon.
In the evening, the Red Devils will host Italy at the King Baudouin stadium, which could cause traffic problems. The police ask to go to the stadium as soon as possible.
