The samboists of the Montalban Olympic Vaillante once again made the colors of Montauban, the department, and the region shine during this high-level sambo meeting, in Marseille, very close to the Old Port. The club was represented by a team of four athletes who competed for podiums in sports sambo. Wins the gold medal: Mattéo Grimard (juniors -64 kg), returns in silver Pierre Perrier (cadets upgraded to juniors -71 kg), and wins the bronze medal Anthony Delcasse (seniors -64 kg), while Noah Begue ranks 5th in juniors 64kg. The club extends its congratulations to the athletes for these good results, a big thank you to the club coaches who train these young people throughout the year, and thanks to coach Cédric Dhomps who provided the travel, supervision, and on-site team coaching.
On the agenda. The club expects many of you at its end of season party, with demonstrations of the gymnastics and sambo sections which will take place this Saturday, June 22 from 8:4.5 p.m. at the headquarters, Palisse gymnasium (223 rue de Palisse, Montauban ). On Friday June 28, the club is organizing a reception for all management, at the Palisse gymnasium, from 7 p.m. The VOM sambo section will finally participate in the Olympic day organized by the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee (CDOS), at the Jacques-Chirac complex, this Sunday, June 23.
