A fire is currently underway this Tuesday, November 12, 2024 in a building dedicated to early childhood, located in the town of Le Malherbois, near Pithiviers and not far from Orléans (Loiret).
A 2000m2 building
The alert was given at 2 p.m.. The extinction of this 2000m2 space has already started using two water lances.
More than forty victims are involved including 23 children and 19 adults. They were all taken care of in a community room.
An important emergency device
In total, 33 firefighters as well as three fire enginesan aerial ladder, a light nursing vehicle, an ambulancea command module, a drone module and a breathing air vehicle are mobilized to the scene of the fire.
The gendarmerie and ENEDIS are also present.
