It’s now official.
It’s done, Russia and the North Korea are officially linked by a brand new defense treaty. According to the Associated Press, North Korea has just ratified a treaty that Kim Jong-un et Vladimir Poutine had already signed in June, just like Russia did last week.

From a more pragmatic point of view, North Korea has already provided more than 10,000 troops to Russia to help it on the Ukrainian front. These soldiers are believed to be among 50,000 men ready to attack in the Kursk region, where Ukraine achieved a surprise breakthrough in August.
A treaty which poses a real threat of international stagnation of the conflict. But also in Asia, where North Korea maintains explosive relations with its southern neighbor.
