It was his daughter Manuela Papatakis who announced the sad news on social networks. “With my daughter, Galaad, and my granddaughter, Mila, we have the immense sadness to announce the departure of my mother Anouk Aimée. I was close to her when she passed away this morning, at her home in Paris,” declared the actress’s daughter via an Instagram publication.
Her real name, Françoise Dreyfus, the actress adopted the name Anouk Aimée at the age of 13 for the filming of her first film: “La Maison sous la mer”. Later, the actress was known worldwide for her role in the feature film “A Man and a Woman”.

At her side until her last moments, Manuela Papatakis was Anouk Aimée’s only daughter. Born in 1951 from the union between Françoise Dreyfus and Nikos Papatakis, Manuela quickly followed in her mother’s footsteps by becoming an actress.
