On November 8, 2024, RN deputy for Laure Lavalette was the victim of a burglary. A man under OQTF was actually caught in flagrante delicto in his car, while the elected official was preparing to join Minister Catherine Vautrin.

Ultimately, more fear than harm, and a slight delay for the deputy who was detained by the police contacted for the offense.

The individual is an Algerian under OQTF (Obligation to leave French territory) and is also subject to an ban on returning to France. Arrested, he was placed in pre-trial detention and will be subject to immediate appearance proceedings on Wednesday.
