Israel. German appointed to referee Nations League match

UEFA has appointed the German Tobias Stieler to referee the team against Israel, Thursday November 14 (8:45 p.m.), in a tense context at the Stade de France. The latter had already officiated during a Nations League match for the Blues this season, against Belgium (2-0), on September 9.

A German to referee France – Israel at the Stade de France. This Monday, UEFA announced the name of the man who will officiate at the 5th matche Nations League day in Saint-Denis, Thursday November 14 (8:45 p.m.). This is Tobias Stieler, 43, a regular at Bundesliga and European Cup matches in recent years.

At the whistle of France – Belgium in September

The latter has already refereed the French team recently, in the same competition: it was against Belgium at Groupama Stadium (2-0), in , on September 9. This is also his only meeting managed at international level this season. In a tense context due to a very tense geopolitical situation, the Blues have the opportunity to validate their qualification for the quarter-finals of the League of Nations in three days.
