“Le Monde”, the standard bearer of Springer editions, is a sort of Figaro German style. Very comprehensive in the economic field, it is also read for its pages concerning tourism and real estate.
Particularly with its analysis section, called Background, the newspaper claims to be conservative. It is distributed daily in more than 130 countries. Since 1948 the Sunday edition has been published, World on Sunday, which is one of the most popular German media.
