All good things must come to an end… With 'Great or Little Thing', The Penguin achieves a perfect landing, Oswald Cobb and Sofia Gigante engaging in a thrilling game of chess where each tries to inflict the most painful revenge on the other. Trauma, alliances, betrayals, nods to Batman mythology… nothing to complain about, it was a very beautiful work! We will still highlight the funny situation in which we find ourselves as spectators: The Penguin bridges the gap between The Batman et The Batman Part IIunconsciously giving the impression that the release of the latter is approaching… even though we will have to wait two more years (October 2, 2026)! Anyway, what did you think of this series finale and the season as a whole? Who shed a tear during the inevitable scene where you-know-who meets his disastrous fate? What does the famous letter contain? Is it really reasonable for Eve to get away with it so cheaply after her betrayal (how ironic)? Was Bruce Wayne on vacation while all the Godfathers of Gotham were falling one by one? For or against a mini-series entitled The Emperor Penguin towards 2028, just to lay the foundations of The Batman Part III ? (Colin Farrell is already saying he's up for a season 2, as long as the quality is there.) And according to you, who will be the next supervillain who will find himself in the spotlight on HBO/Max? To your theories!
The Penguin – Saison 1 – Episode 8 – ‘Great or Little Thing’ : The truths are revealed as Oz Cobb nears the end of his journey and his power struggle with Sofia comes to a head.
