This Sunday evening, firefighters intervened to extinguish a fire which had broken out in a room of the departmental establishment to support, accompany, educate (EPDSAE), rue d’Esquermes. No injuries were reported but around fifteen young people had to be urgently rehoused.

A call for donations

These young people, supported by the EPDSAE, an institution of the Department of the North, have for some lost many material goods. One of the employees also launched a call for donations on her Facebook page. “ A fire ravaged our home, leaving our young people between 12 and 18 years old without clothes, without personal belongings, and in great distress. We need your help to provide them with immediate support », We can read on his post. Hygiene and basic necessities products also seem welcome. “ This would be of great help to young people who find themselves in a very difficult situation. », she concludes.

A call for donations was launched by one of the employees. Some young people lost many belongings in this fire.
