World Refugee Day takes place on June 20 each year, with the aim of raising awareness about the cause of the world’s refugees. It was a little early, this Saturday, June 15, that Saint-Dié-des-Vosges echoed World Refugee Day
Organized by the local branches of Secours Catholique, the League for Human Rights, Amnesty International, Artisans du Monde, Action des Chrétiens pour l’Abolition de la Torture and Asil’Accueil88, This festive and supportive afternoon took place on Quai De-Lattre-de-Tassigny, where various activities and exhibitions were offered. The opportunity for the public to learn about the various actions carried out by the organizing associations, to attend concerts and dance demonstrations… and to taste dishes from the four corners of the world.
