The Apple Watch Ultra 2 ($749 currently on Amazon) remains one of the most expensive smartwatches on the market, barring niche options like the TAG Heuer Connected or high-end models from Garmin. However, Apple may soon face competition from Samsung if the new Galaxy Watch Ultra rumors prove true. Samsung reportedly plans to offer the Galaxy Watch Ultra in a single 47mm size, as it did with the Galaxy Watch5 Pro.
So there won’t be a cheaper, smaller option, as will be the case with the Galaxy Watch7. Instead, Samsung has reportedly priced the Galaxy Watch Ultra between $699 and $710, putting it far behind recent Galaxy Watch smartwatches and close to the current price of the Watch Ultra 2. According to the newly released images by Ice Universe, it looks like the Galaxy Watch Ultra will mimic the Watch Ultra series in other areas.
For example, the Galaxy Watch Ultra has a pronounced crown guard, just like the Watch Ultra and Watch Ultra 2. Additionally, Samsung has even included an orange accent to break up the mass of gray or silver, depending on which version you choose . That said, Samsung has been more liberal in applying orange than Apple so far.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch7 price is expected to be between $299 and $310. Please note that this price only applies to the 40mm edition and non-cellular edition. Unfortunately, equivalent pricing for the 44mm and LTE versions has yet to surface, although we imagine all variants will be available in cream white, forest green, and marble gray.
