The Vital ACDC football club (Démouville-Cuverville municipal association) has brought together, since the 2021 merger, footballers from Cuverville and Démouville. In total, 200 members are divided between the different categories: seniors, veterans, and the football school, which has 80 children. Next year, an U18 team will see the light of day.

We progress every year rejoices Frédéric Mauduit, president of the club for two years, but we are moving towards this, well supported by our two town halls: for example we are organizing open days every Wednesday until the end of June. Furthermore, our land will be completely resurfaced, using natural support, from next year.

A memorable experience in Valenciennes

In fact, this amateur club, based on the dedication of passionate volunteers, like many of its peers in rural areas, strives to welcome, train, and promote football fans of all ages. This is evidenced by the joyful journey which took twenty-five children and as many accompanying persons to Valenciennes (North), to participate in a tournament during the week of June 10 to 16, 2024.

Success rewarded this mobilization: the U9s not only won all their matches without conceding a single goal. The U13s, for their part, won five out of their ten matches. Better yet, as Frédéric explains: The entire troop, camped out for this memorable weekend, received the warmest welcome on site, and even won a cup! That of the best supporters. It must be said that the choir, the special jerseys, the drums, and our enthusiastic encouragement did not leave the judges indifferent.
