The tragedy occurred while emergency services were responding to a heavy goods vehicle accident that occurred at the exit of the access ramp towards the N184 coming from theA15. While the axis had been closed to traffic, the biker would still have engaged despite the roadblock put in placeaccording to an agent from the Val-d’Oise departmental fire and rescue operational center (Codis).

In circumstances that the police investigation will have to determine, the motorcyclist lost control of his two-wheeler and fell heavily. Despite the first aid measures provided by the firefighters and then a medical team from Samu 95, the victim died on the spot. He was pronounced dead at 7:58 a.m.
