How do you analyze this large victory?

Defensively, we were pretty good. Especially in the first period. But it’s especially our big guys who are doing a really big job this evening. They were the ones who won the match.

And now?

It would be nice if we went further than the semi-finals but we know what to expect. Stade Français has been ready for days and we haven’t managed to win against them this year. We will have to be as well armed as possible.

Where will this semi-final against Paris be played?

It will come down to the fundamentals: conquest and defense. They are also good at occupation, we will have to compete there. The other great strength of Stade Français is that it never gives up. The Parisians have something extra compared to the other teams, it’s not for nothing that they finished second in the Top 14.

Your team has often failed in the semi-finals. Which of these defeats was the most painful?

When you lose a half, you lose a half… it’s always painful… Whether it’s at home or not… But here, we’re mainly going to get back to work to recover well.

You made your return to competition on Sunday evening. How did you feel?

I came back at fairly short notice, I was a little apprehensive. But it went well, I’m satisfied. We had a great first half but behind it it was more disjointed. We must not lose sight of the fact that consistency must be our asset in the semi-final.
