Work will take place on departmental road 89 between Saint-Martin-de-Fontenay and Hubert-Foliesouth of Caen (Calvados).

3.3 km of road to be redone: 1st phase on June 18, 2nd in August

In poor condition, the road will be resurfaced over 3.3 km in the plain, between Saint-Martin-de-Fontenay and the N158 road which connects Caen to Falaise.

Tuesday June 18, 2024 will take place first phase. This will involve purging the roadway before the actual coating is carried out in August 2024.

This period of four to eight weeks between the two phases is mandatory in order to guarantee good performance over time of the future coating.

Traffic completely closed on June 18 on the RD89

There traffic will be totally closed on this axis all day of June 18, from the exit of the commune of Saint-Martin-de-Fontenay to the RN158 (Caen-Falaise axis).

Diversions via May-sur-Orne and Fontenay-le-Marmion are in place. The cost of the work amounts to 120,000 euros.
