Eriksen miraculously

On June 12, 2021, Denmark challenged Finland for its entry into Euro 2021. The match turned into horror a few minutes before half-time, as Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch. Victim of a heart attack, the Danish midfielder spent several minutes between life and death but fortunately escaped thanks to the intervention of emergency services and some of his teammates.

Equipped with a cardiac defibrillator, Christian Eriksen was able to return to high-level football with Brentford (Premier League) and now plays for Manchester United. Back at his best, the Danish midfielder regained his selection in March 2022 and once again proved decisive this Sunday, by scoring Denmark’s first goal in the competition.
