The VineArt festival will kick off on Saturday June 22 at the Condom cellar (Gers), where producers will welcome the public for visits and tastings, before a gourmet evening at the Château de Cassaigne.

This summer, the VineArt en Gascogne traveling festival returns to the Gascon vineyards with 24 artistic stages planned in cellars and estates in the Côtes de Gascogne region. This event, born from the collaboration between winegrowers and around sixty companies and artists, invites the public to discover shows ranging from circus to theater, including poetry, concerts, exhibitions… All punctuated by major moments of conviviality with wood-fired cooking, taverns in the vineyards and tasting workshops.

Set up by the Côtes de Gascogne wine union, the event is already presenting its 4th edition, always with the ambition of bringing the general public, locals and tourists mixed, to the cellars and estates of the Gascon vineyard in coherence with the values of IGP Côtes de Gascogne: the taste for sharing, generosity and creativity.

Last year, the festival managed to bring together more than 4,000 visitors along its route. And this figure could well soar this year since the program offers even more meetings!

Swing evening at the Château de Cassaigne

It is at the Condo cellar that the 4th VineArt festival will take its first steps, on Saturday June 22. The invitation will firstly be the opportunity to discover the exhibition of paintings by Francis Pegot, which will remain on display all summer.
In the store, visitors will be able to enjoy a tasting of the Gascogne, Floc and Armagnac range throughout the day.

Guided tours of the cellar facilities will also be scheduled, at 10 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., without reservation. For the Armagnac tasting workshops organized at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., it will however be necessary to reserve your place (06 41 99 07 17 or email: [email protected]).

An aperitif will be offered by the producers at midday. In the evening, the festivities will continue from the Château de Cassaigne, with a concert offered by “Les Mademoiselles”, with an aperitif and meal (tapas and grills from €10), by reservation.
