The public responded this afternoon in Chartres in the Odysée swimming pool. Several potential Olympic qualifiers will be followed. The atmosphere is very pleasant.
17:44 – Marie Wattel favorite in 100m butterfly
Marie Wattel, world vice-champion in the 100m butterfly, will be the big favorite over this distance. Disturbed by several injuries in recent months, she will also aim for the minimums (57’92), a time well within her reach. At the end of May the Lille woman managed 57’90.
17:41 – Manaudou forfeits the 50m butterfly final
Author of a very good time this morning in the 50m butterfly series, Florent Manaudou (22’87) withdrew from the final. The former Olympic champion came to measure himself over this distance without any real title objective because the distance is not on the Olympic programs.
