R1. Quessoy – CPB Bréquigny : 2-2

After his catastrophic match last weekend (1-5 defeat against Vignoc), Quessoy was keen to redeem himself in front of his supporters. Dagorn, on the right side, was the first to come into view but he was caught in the area before his strike (9'). The game was balanced and the visitors showed that they were there to achieve a result. Thus, Magon gave Quessoy's defense a cold sweat and forced Jaffrelot to make a save on his line (13').

More active and higher in the game, the Bretillians were more and more pressing near the surface. Once again, Jaffrelot saved his side in front of Ouagalan (29'). The Costarmoricans fell back and were punished when Ouagalan caused the penalty which he converted (0-1, 33'). We then thought that the Quessoyais were left with a defeat, but Mara gave hope at the end of the first period, taking advantage of a hazardous exit from Barth (1-1.43').

Toanen: “Each team had its half”

Largely dominated in the first period, Quessoy was more present in the second period and scored his second goal from a corner, Le Notre rising higher than everyone (2-1, 67').

Unfortunately, the locals gave in in stoppage time following a new penalty from Ouagalan (2-2, 90'+2). A big frustration for Quessoy against a team which still showed a lot of will. Coach of the Costarmoricans, Gwénaël Toanen noted a “logical draw against a good team” in a match where “each team had its half-time”. Opposite, former pro Romain Salin, now a CPB technician, praised his team's “possession of the ball” but was frustrated by “too many missed opportunities to be able to win this match”.

BUTS. Quessoy: Mara (43'), Le Notre (67'); Brequigny: Ouagalan (33' sp, 90'+2 sp).
