Man attacks police with pickaxe

On the sidelines of the Poland – Netherlands match, a man threatened police officers with a pickaxe and an incendiary device. German security forces shot him to neutralize him. The assailant, who was reportedly injured in the leg, then received medical treatment. No other injuries were reported.
