The fire started in an apartment in a building in the Europe district, around 3 p.m., this Sunday, June 16, 2024, in Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d’Armor). The occupants of neighboring homes were able to be evacuated, no one was injured.

The firefighters were alerted shortly after 3 p.m., Sunday June 16, 2024: a fire broke out in an apartment on the ground floor of a Venice building, in the Europe district, in Saint -Brieuc (Côtes-d’Armor). The accommodation was destroyed. It was unoccupied at the time, no one was injured.
Emergency services evacuated people from neighboring apartments and the three upper floors.
At 4:30 p.m., the fire service was still in progress. The municipal police and the National Police are on site, as well as Stéphane Favrais, deputy mayor.
