After two years of waiting, “House of the Dragon” is finally back with a season 2 consisting of eight episodes. Find out the release dates for each episode.
House of the Dragon is back !
The wait will have been long for fans ofHouse of the Dragon. While season 1 was broadcast almost 2 years ago (from August 21, 2022), season 2 finally arrives on our screens. The first spin-off of Game Of Thrones had been impacted by strikes in Hollywood. But this expectation is also explained by the desire of the creators to offer a grandiose program which requires a long production. It was worth it for the first chapter, which was a huge success. And we expect that the public will still be there to follow the tumultuous history of the Targaryen dynasty.
As a reminder, season 1 of House of the Dragonunfolding 200 years ago Game Of Thrones, began with the decline of King Viserys (Paddy Considine), but who continued to reign for a few years. Time for her daughter Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy) to grow up and be considered to succeed her. But that was without counting on certain advisors, like Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans), who managed to put his half-brother Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) in his place on the throne. An event that triggered the war between the green clanled by Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke), and that of blacks of Rhaenyra and Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith).
Season 2 episode release dates
House of the Dragon still promises to be rich in emotions, and should make you cry from the start. Unfortunately, for this season 2, we will have to be content with only 8 episodes, compared to 10 for season 1. And to discover them, it will not be possible to follow them for two months. Unlike Netflix which has the habit of putting all the episodes online at once, or even Prime Video which offered three episodes of The Boys season 4, Max, for his part, will broadcast an episode ofHouse of the Dragon per week. So, it is from this June 17 from 3 a.m. that episode 1 of season 2 will be available on this new streaming service, available in France since June 11. Here are all the dates to remember:
