Launched for the first time on M6 in 1993, Forbidden Zone magazine has today become one of the most essential programs on the channel directed by Nicolas de Tavernost. Published alternately with the magazine Capitalthe show will be back for a new new issue on Sunday November 10, 2024, from 9:05 p.m. on M6.
As a reminder, several emblematic figures of the French audiovisual landscape have successively presented Zone Interdite over the years. Bernard de la Villardière, Anne-Sophie Lapix, Mélissa Theuriau, or even Wendy Bouchard have embodied this magazine, which has now been presented by Ophélie Meunier since 2016.
Zone Interdite: Ophélie Meunier and her teams are interested in the renovation work
“Arrival of a baby, growing teenagers, teleworking… certain life changes often lead us to review our housing plan. But how can we deal with rising property prices and soaring interest rates? Unable to move, some French people decide to push back the walls or completely rethink their house! Total makeover, an extra room or floor“, first indicated M6 in a press release.
“How do families manage to create a new home without moving? They will give you ideas! In the North, Lucie and Romain are planning to have a second child. To welcome this future baby, they take on a big challenge: trying to build a wooden extension for their little house on their own.
This will save almost 50 m² but at the cost of a lot of effort…“, the channel then added.
Work, renovation, decoration: a new “home” without moving
“In Normandy, Antoine and Audrey fell under the spell of a beautiful farmhouse five years ago. Except that today, with two young children, the house is no longer suitable. They therefore decided to completely rethink their interior with the help of an architect. The family will continue to live on site during the work. Cohabitation with workers which is not always easy, especially when the construction site is several months late. The couple could well lose their patience…“, also underlined M6.
“In Isère, Kamilia needs an extra room to isolate herself from family life when she is teleworking. With her husband Adrien, she chose a radical solution: pushing the roof of her house! Thanks to a new wooden elevation technique which is now all the rage with the French, they will gain a floor in just a few days. For the interior work, the couple decided to take care of it themselves to limit costs. A project that will not be easy…“, the channel finally concluded.
