This is a new, dramatic attack which occurred in front of the Le QG nightclub, located on the banks of the Doubs in Besançon. On the night of Thursday November 7 to Friday November 8, a man was beaten by several individuals, according to information from L’Est Républicain, confirmed by the Besançon public prosecutor’s office.
The victim, aged 26, is a soldier from Besançon, according to the public prosecutor’s office, who refuses to characterize the facts as “brawl”but rather of a “assault” one-sided, of which the young man would be the only victim. An attack violent enough for the young man to lose consciousness.
The firefighters, called by the managers of the nightclub, took care of the young man in a coma, who was immediately transported to Besançon University Hospital to be hospitalized in serious condition. From a judicial source, this Sunday morning, his vital prognosis is still “engaged.”
The Besançon public prosecutor’s office refuses to make any additional comments, as the investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the tragedy. New information could be revealed at the start of the week.
The establishment received two warnings from the Doubs prefecture in 2022 and 2023, prior to administrative closure for disturbances to public order. A “final warning” which had been the subject of an appeal by the managers, an appeal canceled at the end of September by the administrative court of Besançon.
