The minimum temperatures expected during the nights of Tuesday to Thursday should not drop below 20°C, according to a special weather bulletin issued by Environment Canada.

This heat wave should be accompanied by humidex values ​​which will cause the temperature felt to rise to 40°C in the afternoon. These conditions will persist until Thursday evening.

“Be vigilant regarding heat-related repercussions, such as exhaustion and/or heat stroke. Remember to drink plenty of water,” warns the federal agency.

Note that almost no region of Quebec will be spared, with the exception of those further east.

The City of Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville also announced to its residents that the Roberval swimming pool and paddling pool will be open from Monday, in view of the warm weather. The water games at Parc des Aviateurs and Quincy-sous-Sénart are also open at this time, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

On the City of Laval side, as of Saturday, six swimming pools were opened early, as well as ten water games.

For the moment, no activities planned for next week have been canceled in Laval, but the city is closely monitoring developments in the situation.
