Fire in California: more than 2,400 firefighters mobilized to stop the advance of the flames

The fires in California continue to advance. Despite the massive intervention of firefighters, more than 9,000 hectares of vegetation have already burned.

The flames are only a few meters from a Californian villa. South of Los Angeles, near Fallbrook, the line of fire threatens homes. By helicopter, firefighters increase water drops. This Saturday, November 9 in the evening, they managed to contain the fire.

Further north in California, the town of Camarillo is in ruins after another fire named le Mountain Fire. Entire neighborhoods are reduced to ashes. Houses are in ruins, more than 130 in total. Amidst the debris, firefighters put out the last fires. They also allowed some residents to come and see the damage. Here, things have become calm again for the first time in four days. Since Wednesday November 6, 9,000 hectares of vegetation have been destroyed despite the intervention of firefighters.
