Some establishments will close their doors on Monday, November 11, for Remembrance Day.

Open

  • Grocery stores, convenience stores and pharmacies will remain open.
  • Shopping centers, restaurants, cinemas and markets will also remain open.
  • Public transport will run according to the usual schedule.
  • Museums, including Pointe-à-Callière, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the McCord Stewart Museum, will be accessible. The Biodôme, the Planetarium and the Botanical Garden too.
  • Schools will remain open.
  • SAQ and SQDC branches will remain open.
  • The removal of garbage, recyclable materials, food waste and dead leaves will be maintained in Montreal.

Closed

  • Credit unions and banks will be closed.
  • Canada Post offices will be closed, and there will be no deliveries.
  • Passport offices will also close their doors.
  • Federal service centers, such as those of the Canada Revenue Agency, will be closed.
