More fear than harm for a motorist, who transported explosive products this Saturday, November 9 on the A69 motorway between Montpellier and Toulouse. His car caught fire and a gas canister in the back of his vehicle. The highway had to be partially closed to traffic.
The scene occurred early in the afternoon this Saturday April 9 near Deyme in Haute-Garonne on the A61 motorway towards Toulouse. Firefighters had to deal with a car on fire. An explosion followed, due to aerosols and a 5-kilo gas cylinder, which the motorist was carrying.
Firefighters managed to put out the fire. The injured man was rushed to Toulouse University Hospital. But traffic had to be partially interrupted in the area to allow emergency services to intervene as quickly as possible.
