Valenciennes takes its first success of the season at home! The northern club won 3-1 against Brest and left last place. In the first third, the Valenciennes club leads 2-0 after a quarter of an hour of play. Brest comes back to 2-1 a few seconds later. Kevin Alditor gave his team a two-goal lead in the final moments of the second half to ensure this success and the three points.
Mont-Blanc confirms its excellent current form with a fourth success in a row, the third away after Nantes and Brest. The Haut-Savoie club only takes three minutes to get going. He took off in the second third, with a goal after 22 minutes before the club’s two best scorers: Eric Léger on goal, Uladzimir Dzhyg on assist, added to the tally. Cholet returned to 3-1 in the last period, but would not succeed in getting back on track.
The Remparts de Tours take advantage of the fact that the Penguins of Morzine-Avoriaz are not playing this Saturday, to take first place thanks to their victory against Nantes. And yet, it was the visitors who started the best. They take the score after three minutes. Tours returned from the locker room with two goals, but the Corsairs remained in front after the hour mark thanks to Mathieu André then Anthony Cinato. Stung, the Tourangeaux moved forward and led 4-3 with a double numerical superiority goal. After 18 seconds in the last period, Elie Raibon completes the local victory 5-3.
In a tight match, Epinal has the last word in Chambéry and remains in the right position for the podium. Rather in difficulty since the start of the season, the Elephants believe in the feat and lead in the first third. But then, the Spinaliens will reverse the situation in the next two thirds, especially in the last twenty minutes. After the equalizer in the 23rd minute, the Vosges team took the lead in the powerplay after 48 minutes. The Chambérians tried everything possible, without success. Peter Hrehorcak scores the 3-1 goal in an empty cage, and climbs onto the podium of the best scorers.
The derby for Neuilly-sur-Marne in Meudon! Thanks to an excellent first third, the Bisons won this very important match. In 14 minutes, they took a good margin for success by taking a three-unit lead. The Comets find the light again in the next third and are only one goal behind their neighbors. The locals dominated the last third to come back to the score with a total of 17 shots to 6, but fell on Andrei Filolenko, impassable during this period. The Nocéens can breathe and win 3-2.
At the end of the suspense, the Drakkars won 2-1 after extra time and scored a fourth victory in a row, against Strasbourg. The first act is very balanced and is confirmed by the score with a goal on each side. Scoring in the second, the Alsatian team confirmed this dynamic by dominating in terms of shots in the next two thirds. But it is the people of Caen who are the most realistic. A single shot and 11 short seconds were enough for Liam Markhauser in overtime to give victory to his team, and capsize the 1,250 spectators at La Mer.
After two defeats in a row, Dunkirk returns to success unlike Villard-de-Lans, which has a fourth defeat in a row. The Northerners quickly took the game into their own hands. They lead 2-0 in the first third, and although the Bears come back to 2-1, the plan goes smoothly with a score of 4-1 after 40 minutes. In the final third, the promoted team once again believed in this comeback by going up to 4-3, with a few moments left to play. But the captain of the Corsairs, Clément Thomas, came to kill all the suspense 13 seconds from time. He and his teammates come home with all three points, with a score of 5-3.
